SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT

SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT

Good afternoon resident,

We have received information that a male has been in the St Thomas area knocking doors, stating he is from BT and EE and that home access was required to test internet speed.

Please be wary of unknown persons knocking at your door - below are some helpful tips:

Display a ‘No Cold Calling’ sign on your door.

Ask for identification from any unknown person. Any legitimate company or organisation will be happy to identify themselves.

Install a Doorbell camera to allow you to see who is at your door before opening.

Never provide bank details, personal information or purchase goods/a service from someone on the doorstep.

Report any suspicious circumstances to 101 or 999 in an emergency.

Please remember to be vigilant!

Many thanks
